Feeders and Conveyors
Magnetic Slide Conveyor
OVERVIEW
Product Overview
Magnetic conveyors are the ideal choice for handling ferrous materials, providing industrial automation for the conveyance of hot, cold, wet, oily, or dry ferrous contaminants in virtually any application where reliable operation is required. They can be used for vertical, inclined, or horizontal material transport and enable continuous feeding of materials even at elevated heights. Magnetic conveyors operate quietly with no external moving parts, enhancing operator safety. Thanks to their leak-proof design, the lower section of the conveyor can be fully immersed in cooling fluids or coolant tanks.
Design Principle
The magnetic conveyor employs a series of powerful magnets that pick up and slide ferrous materials along a stainless steel chute, discharging them at the conveyor’s discharge end. The magnets are evenly distributed along the length of the drive chain and are concealed beneath a fixed stainless steel slide. Driven components use magnetic force to position and convey the materials.

Features and Advantages
- Fully enclosed and leak-free: Particularly suitable for conveying toxic, corrosive, flammable, explosive, or high-purity materials, such as NMP solvents and electroplating solutions.
- High cleanliness: Lubrication-free with no mechanically generated particulates, meeting the stringent cleanliness requirements of industries like food, pharmaceuticals, and electronics.
- Safe and reliable: Eliminates the leakage risks associated with aging conventional shaft seals, improving operational safety.
- Easy to integrate with automation: Can be linked with PLC control systems, robots, or smart production lines to achieve fully automated feeding and material handling.
- Low maintenance costs: Compact, contactless transmission design results in minimal wear, long service life, and stable operation.
Optional Configurations
- Multiple size options
- Various shape configurations
- Available accessories include: discharge chutes, impact plates, high-temperature chains, leg supports, coolant recovery tanks, and hoppers, among others.
- Optional additions: start/stop switches, emergency stop switches, and demagnetizers.
Applications
- In battery manufacturing, used for the sealed conveyance of positive and negative slurry, preventing contamination and solvent evaporation.
- In the pharmaceutical industry, enabling sterile transfer of high-purity medicinal liquids or active ingredients.
- In food processing, employed for the conveyance of liquids such as milk, juice, and edible oils, with integrated magnetic separation to remove metallic contaminants.
- In the chemical and electroplating sectors, safely conveying corrosive media like acids, alkalis, and organic solvents.
- In the waste recycling industry, automatically sorting ferrous metals from mixed waste streams to facilitate resource recovery.
- In mechanical machining, used for the automated loading and unloading of steel plates and workpieces.
Handled Materials
- Metallic materials: steel plates, iron sheets, steel coils, ferrous parts, and metal chips—automatically gripped and lifted via magnetic suction cups or magnetic rollers.
- Battery slurry: Positive and negative slurry (e.g., lithium iron phosphate, graphite)—delivered in a leak-free, sealed manner using magnetically driven pumps or screw mechanisms.
- High-viscosity liquids: adhesives, inks, and resins—conveyed stably while preventing drips and leaks.
- Corrosive liquids: electroplating solutions, acid–alkali mixtures, and NMP solvents—fully enclosed construction ensures no volatilization or leakage.
- Food and pharmaceutical liquids: milk, juices, and injectable solutions—meeting cleanroom and aseptic feeding requirements.
