Magnetic separation, metal removal and vibratory conveying solutions

Plate Magnets

Plate Housing Magnet

The magnetic separator is a highly efficient magnetic separation device designed for online removal of ferromagnetic contaminants from powders and granular materials. It features a closed-box structure and a dual-magnetic-plate opposed‑configuration, creating a high‑gradient magnetic field capture zone during material conveyance to achieve efficient adsorption and thorough separation of ferrous contaminants. The equipment is widely used in the ceramics, lithium‑ion battery, chemical, food, and building materials industries, serving as a critical component for ensuring material purity and protecting downstream equipment. This device can be directly installed in series within chutes or pipeline systems, enabling continuous ferrous contaminant removal via gravity flow or forced conveyance without the need for external power. It boasts a compact design, stable operation, and convenient maintenance.

OVERVIEW

Product Overview

Materials enter the box-type iron removal chamber under gravity. Inside the chamber, high-performance NdFeB permanent magnetic plates on both sides generate a high-intensity magnetic field zone (with a surface magnetic field strength of 10,000–15,000 gauss). As the material passes through this magnetic region, ferromagnetic contaminants are instantly magnetized and, under the action of the dual-sided magnetic fields, are strongly adsorbed and firmly retained on the surface of the magnetic plates, while the purified material continues to flow freely into downstream processes. After a period of operation, the adsorbed iron impurities can be removed via the quick-opening cabinet structure; depending on the configuration, either manual scraping or rinsing may be selected for cleaning.

Features and Advantages
  • More thorough iron capture: A bilateral opposing plate design creates a magnetic field superposition zone, effectively enhancing the ability to capture fine iron powders and weakly magnetic impurities.
  • Enclosed cabinet design: The entire unit adopts a closed chamber structure, which effectively prevents dust leakage while improving magnetic field stability, making it suitable for continuous production environments.
  • Quick-release mechanism for convenient maintenance: The equipment features a quick-opening cabinet door that allows for rapid inspection and cleaning, significantly reducing maintenance time and labor costs.
  • Zero-energy operation—energy-saving and environmentally friendly: The all-permanent-magnet design requires no electrical power, generates no heat or noise, and keeps operating costs virtually zero.
  • High-strength magnetic configuration: Utilizing high-performance NdFeB magnets, the magnetic field strength is stable, reaching 10,000–15,000 gauss, ideal for high-precision ferrous contaminant removal applications.
Optional Configurations
  • Magnetic system options: NdFeB permanent magnets (for efficient, fine iron removal); ferrite magnets (for high-temperature or coarse-particle applications).
  • Material selection options: SUS304 stainless steel (general industrial grade); SUS316L stainless steel (food-grade/pharmaceutical grade).
  • Cleaning methods: Manual cleaning (quick-opening cabinet + hand wiping); scraper-assisted cleaning (to improve efficiency and reduce downtime).
  • Surface treatments: Mirror polishing (anti-adhesive); wire drawing; sandblasting.
  • Structural customization: Single-chamber or dual-chamber designs available; flanged connections or quick-connect clamp fittings; non-standard size customization.Manufacture.
