Rare-Earth Roll Separators
Rare-Earth Roll Magnetic Separator
The roller-type dry magnetic separator (also known as a high-intensity magnetic separator) is a dry magnetic separation device used for the continuous sorting and ferrous contaminant removal of solid materials, primarily achieving the separation of ferromagnetic contaminants from the material via a roller-based structure. The equipment employs permanent magnets or high-strength magnetic systems to generate a stable magnetic field on the roller surface, making it suitable for the purification and sorting of powders, granules, and mineral raw materials, and widely applied in mineral processing and industrial ferrous contaminant removal.

OVERVIEW
Product Overview
The material enters the magnetic field zone of the roller uniformly. Ferromagnetic particles are adsorbed onto the roller surface under magnetic force, while non-magnetic materials fall naturally under gravity, completing the separation. As the roller continues to rotate, the adsorbed ferrous contaminants move with the surface and are automatically released when they reach a region of reduced magnetic field strength, thereby achieving a continuous and stable material separation process.

Features and Advantages
- Permanent magnet rollers made from high-quality ferrite or rare-earth magnetic steel provide strong magnetic field strength and steep magnetic gradients.
- The magnetic field is stable, making them suitable for separating materials with varying degrees of magnetic susceptibility.
- They enable continuous operation, ideal for long-term production line use.
- The separation process is stable, appropriate for fine powders as well as medium-to-coarse particulate materials.
- Their compact design makes them applicable in both small-scale trials and industrial production.
Optional Configurations
- Temperature resistance grades available: ambient, 85°C, 100°C, 120°C, 150°C, 350°C, etc.
- A variety of magnetic system specifications: 10,000 gauss, 12,000 gauss, 14,000 gauss.
- Number of magnetic roller layers optional: single-layer, double-layer, or triple-layer rollers.
- Exterior styles available: sealed dust‑proof hoods and transparent observation windows.
- Surface treatments optional: sandblasting or polishing.
