The magnetic head pulley (also known as a magnetic pulley) is a highly efficient magnetic separation device used in continuous conveying and sorting processes, widely applied in mineral processing and industrial ferrous contaminant removal. The equipment employs a high-performance NdFeB permanent magnet system, generating a stable, strong magnetic field within the drum. As the conveyor belt carries material through the magnetic pulley’s zone, ferromagnetic substances are precisely adsorbed and separated, making it one of the core components in magnetic separators, high-intensity magnetic separators, and magnetic separation systems. It is suitable for belt conveyor systems, ore‑processing production lines, and industrial sorting applications.

Product Overview

       When the material moves along the conveyor belt into the magnetic separation zone, it first enters the effective range of the magnetic drum. Ferromagnetic materials (such as iron ore, iron powder, and iron filings) are adsorbed by the magnetic field and firmly adhere to the drum’s surface, while non-magnetic materials are separated under the action of gravity and centrifugal force and continue to be conveyed forward. As the drum rotates continuously, the adsorbed ferromagnetic materials are carried to a non-magnetic region and automatically discharged, thereby completing a continuous separation process. This design is widely used in industrial magnetic separation systems, including ferrous contaminant removal equipment and high-intensity magnetic separators.
