Suspended Magnets

Permanent overband magnets and suspended electromagnets are widely used in industries such as mining, power generation, metallurgy, and cement to remove ferromagnetic contaminants from materials conveyed on conveyor belts. These magnetic separators are installed across the top of the conveyor, using a powerful magnetic field to attract and capture metallic foreign objects. They are primarily categorized into permanent overband magnets (requiring no power supply and offering maintenance-free operation) and suspended electromagnets (with adjustable magnetic fields suitable for thick material layers). Both types feature a belt‑type design, with an automatic iron‑removal belt that continuously discharges captured ferrous contaminants, enabling efficient, continuous operation.
