Electromagnetic Separators
Slurry Electromagnetic Separator
OVERVIEW
Product Overview
The equipment employs high-gradient magnetic separation (HGMS) technology. When the excitation coil is energized, a high-intensity, high-gradient magnetic field is generated within the separation chamber. The slurry flows through the magnetic field region under pump-driven or gravitational action; ferromagnetic particles in the slurry are strongly adsorbed and retained by the high-gradient magnetic medium, while the clean, non-magnetic slurry passes smoothly through the chamber and is discharged. The device is equipped with a fully automatic PLC control system: once the adsorption reaches the set time or flow rate, the system automatically stops feed, de-energizes or reverses the magnetic field (some models are paired with high-pressure water/air backflushing), thoroughly flushing away the iron contaminants adhered to the magnetic medium, and then automatically resumes magnetization and feeding, enabling 24-hour continuous operation.

Features and Advantages
- Ultra-high iron removal accuracy: Magnetic field strength up to 20,000 GS or higher, effectively removing micrometer-sized ferromagnetic contaminants with an iron removal rate exceeding 99.5%.
- Fully automatic intelligent control: The PLC intelligent system supports automatic magnetization, automatic cleaning, and automatic discharge, reducing manual intervention and ensuring more stable operation.
- Efficient heat dissipation for stable operation: Utilizing forced oil circulation or water-cooling heat dissipation, the magnetic field remains stable, allowing the equipment to run continuously over long periods.
- Hygienic-grade stainless steel construction: The material-contact parts are made of 304/316L stainless steel, offering corrosion resistance and easy cleaning, suitable for the food, pharmaceutical, and lithium-battery industries.
- Reduced material loss: Optimized iron discharge and rinsing mechanisms minimize slurry carryover, thereby reducing waste of high-value materials.
Optional Configurations
- Magnetic field strength up to 20,000 GS or higher, effectively removing micrometer-sized ferromagnetic contaminants with an iron removal rate exceeding 99.5%.
- Cooling system options: Forced oil circulation cooling, internal circulation dry cooling, air cooling, etc.
- Control system options: Standard PLC touch-screen control, supporting remote monitoring, self-diagnostic fault detection, and data integration.
- Connection methods: Quick-disconnect clamps (suitable for hygienic-grade pipelines) and flanged connections (suitable for industrial high-pressure pipelines).
- Magnetic field strength customization: Background field intensity can be tailored to material characteristics (e.g., 8,000 Gs, 12,000 Gs, 15,000 Gs, etc.).
- Three types of excitation media available: mesh, rod, and spherical structures.
