Magnetic Rods
Self-Cleaning Magnetic Liquid Filter
OVERVIEW
Product Overview
Under the pressure of the conveying pump, the material enters the magnetic separator chamber. As the slurry flows through the internal high-intensity magnetic rod array, the high-gradient magnetic field generated by the rods firmly adsorbs ferromagnetic contaminants such as iron filings, iron powder, and iron oxide scale onto the surface of the magnetic rods, while the cleaned fluid continues to be discharged through the pipeline. Once the equipment reaches the preset operating time, the PLC control system automatically initiates the cleaning sequence: a pneumatic actuator drives the magnetic rod assembly out of the working zone, and an integrated scraper or backflush system automatically removes the adsorbed impurities. Subsequently, the unit resets itself and resumes normal ferrous contaminant removal, enabling continuous, non-stop iron removal operations.
Features and Advantages
- Fully Automatic Continuous Iron Removal: The PLC intelligent control system autonomously completes the entire process—iron removal, slag discharge, and reset—eliminating the need for frequent manual cleaning.
- Non-Stop Online Cleaning: The automatic iron discharge process does not interrupt normal conveyance, meeting the demands of continuous production.
- High-Performance Magnetic Filtration: Utilizing high‑performance NdFeB permanent magnetic rods, with a magnetic field strength of 12,000 GS or higher, effectively capturing micrometer‑scale ferromagnetic impurities.
- Anti‑Clogging Design: Suitable for high‑viscosity slurries and fluid applications, minimizing the risk of blockage, material adhesion, and deposition.
- Hygienic Construction: The material‑contacting parts are manufactured from 304 or 316L stainless steel and can be mirror‑polished to meet hygiene standards in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
- Convenient Maintenance: Equipped with quick‑release clamps or flange connections for easy disassembly, flushing, and routine maintenance.
- Sealed and Environmentally Friendly: The fully enclosed structure reduces material leakage and dust contamination, enhancing workplace cleanliness.
