The hump-type pipeline magnetic separator (also known as the hump iron remover) is a dry, high-intensity magnetic separation device specifically designed for powder and granular material handling systems. The equipment features a “hump-shaped” magnetic field configuration composed of two staggered, high-performance NdFeB permanent magnet plates, allowing it to be directly installed in series at the outlets of vertical or inclined pipelines, chutes, and hoppers. As the material passes through the unit under gravity, its flow direction is forcibly altered; the combined effects of turbulence and gravity ensure that ferromagnetic contaminants are fully exposed and captured by the high-intensity magnetic field, achieving efficient purification. The device requires no electrical power, operates with stable performance, and boasts a compact structure, making it an essential protective and purification component in powder conveying systems.

Product Overview

       Materials enter the tubular hump‑type magnetic plate area under gravity. Inside, two high‑performance NdFeB permanent magnetic plates—one above and one below—generate a high‑gradient strong magnetic field (with a surface magnetic field strength of 10,000–15,000 gauss). As the material passes through this magnetic zone, its flow direction is forcibly redirected, creating turbulent and tumbling motion. Under the influence of gravity and density differences, ferromagnetic contaminants come into more thorough contact with the magnetic plates. Iron filings, rust, and other impurities are instantly magnetized and firmly adsorbed onto both sides of the plates, while the purified material continues to fall freely into the downstream process. The accumulated iron impurities must be removed periodically; the equipment features a quick‑open design (with snap locks or hinged casings) that allows rapid access to the chamber for manual scraping or wiping of the magnetic plates.
