Magnetic separation, metal removal and vibratory conveying solutions

Magnetic Rods

Magnetic Liquid Trap

The pipeline magnetic separator (also known as a magnetic filter) is a highly efficient permanent-magnet ferrous contaminant removal device specifically designed for pipelines conveying liquids, slurries, and certain gas–solid mixtures. The equipment’s main body features a SUS304 or SUS316L stainless-steel housing, with an internal array of high-performance NdFeB magnetic rods. It is installed directly in series within the pipeline system via flanges, quick‑mount clamps, or threaded connections, enabling continuous online ferrous contaminant removal and purification. This device delivers a magnetic field strength of 10,000–14,000 gauss, effectively capturing ferromagnetic contaminants such as metal chips, iron powder, rust scale, and welding slag from the material stream, making it an essential piece of equipment for protecting pumps, valves, nozzles, and enhancing product purity.

OVERVIEW

Product Overview

When the material flows through the interior of a pipeline magnetic separator under pressure or gravity, it is forced to pass through the array of magnetic rods. The high-intensity magnetic field instantly acts on the ferromagnetic contaminants in the slurry, causing them to be adsorbed and firmly retained on the surface of the magnetic rods, while the purified material smoothly exits and enters the next process, thereby achieving continuous dynamic ferrous contaminant removal. Once the surface of the magnetic rods becomes saturated with adsorbed particles, the rods can be removed for cleaning by opening the quick-opening end cap or flange assembly, restoring their magnetic performance and enabling reuse.

Features and Advantages
  • High-Field Ferrous Contaminant Removal: Utilizes NdFeB rare-earth permanent magnet material, with a maximum magnetic field strength of up to 14,000 gauss, capable of efficiently capturing micrometer-sized ferromagnetic impurities.
  • 316L Food-Grade Stainless Steel Construction: The material-contacting parts are made of SUS316L stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion and acid–alkali resistance, with a surface finish (Ra ≤ 0.4 μm) that is free of dead corners, meeting the stringent requirements of the food, pharmaceutical, and high-cleanliness industries.
  • Multiple Structural Configurations: Available in flanged, quick-disconnect clamp, and threaded connections, compatible with various piping systems and providing convenient installation and maintenance.
  • Continuous Online Iron Removal: Enables uninterrupted iron removal within pipelines without disrupting normal production processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Easy Disassembly and Cleaning: The magnetic rods feature a pull-out design, allowing for rapid removal and cleaning of ferrous contaminants, thereby minimizing downtime.
  • Energy-Efficient and Environmentally Friendly: A purely physical magnetic adsorption mechanism requires no electrical power, resulting in zero energy consumption, silent operation, and stable, reliable performance.
Optional Configurations
