The suspended electromagnet (also known as the conveyor belt magnetic separator) is a highly efficient ferromagnetic material separation device installed above conveyor belts or belt conveying systems, and it is an important type within industrial electromagnetic iron removal and magnetic separation systems. The equipment employs an electromagnetic excitation structure; by energizing the coil, it generates a strong magnetic field to continuously adsorb and remove ferromagnetic contaminants from the material, and it is widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, building materials, and power generation.

OVERVIEW

Product Overview

      When the equipment is operating, the electromagnetic coil generates a strong magnetic field upon energization, forming a stable magnetic force zone. As materials move along the conveyor belt into this magnetic field, ferromagnetic contaminants (such as iron filings, iron chunks, and iron inclusions in ores) are rapidly adsorbed onto the surface of the magnetic poles, while non-magnetic materials pass through the conveyor system without interruption. In self-unloading designs, the adsorbed iron impurities are automatically discharged as the conveying mechanism or belt rotates out of the magnetic field, thereby achieving continuous ferrous contaminant removal and automatic cleaning.
