The rotary magnetic separator is a high-efficiency magnetic separation device that builds upon the permanent-magnet grating-type magnetic separator by incorporating a dynamic rotating mechanism. It is specifically designed to address issues such as caking, bridging, and blockages that commonly occur during ferrous contaminant removal in powdered materials. The equipment utilizes a reduction motor to drive the internal magnetic rod assembly in uniform rotation, achieving high-intensity magnetic separation while continuously tumbling and dispersing the material. This ensures that ferromagnetic contaminants are more fully exposed and effectively captured, thereby significantly enhancing overall ferrous contaminant removal efficiency and operational stability. It is widely employed in powder-processing industries, including food, chemical, pharmaceutical, new-energy, and precision manufacturing sectors.

OVERVIEW

Product Overview

       After the material enters the equipment chamber through the feed inlet, it passes under the rotating magnetic rod assembly by gravity. Driven by a motor, the magnetic rod assembly rotates at low speed, continuously generating a high-intensity magnetic field (up to 14,000 gauss) while gently tumbling and dispersing the material to prevent agglomeration and bridging. As the material traverses the rotating magnetic field, ferrous contaminants such as iron filings, iron powder, and welding slag are firmly adsorbed onto the surface of the magnetic rods, while the clean material flows smoothly through the gaps and is discharged, achieving a continuous, dynamic ferrous contaminant removal process. Depending on the configuration, the unit can perform manual intermittent cleaning or automatic scraper-based iron discharge, thereby meeting diverse production continuity requirements.
